The Plan
“All right, listen up you lot!” Bowser roared over his gathered troops. Goombas, koopas and all the other minions instantly shut up. The Koopa King demanded their attention, and they gave it. “With our latest failure at kidnapping Princess Peach, I, your Bodaicous King, came up with an all new brilliant plan.”
The two advisors to the infamous lord of evil shared a look, they both know, and…helped their King figure out the details his new scheme. Kamek was rather unsure of the whole thing, while on the other hand, Kammy found the entire plan to be greatest thing his vileness has ever come up with since stealing the Star Wand.
The projector behind the crowd flickered to life as the screen was lit up with the first slide. Bowser whipped his wrist as his pointer extended out of his hand and slammed it against the screen. With the most beautiful shot of Peach among her subjects. “Every time we kidnap Princess Peach, she is always waiting for that punt-sized plumber to come to her rescue. To have the Princess fall in love with me,-“
The next slide clicks into place, showcasing both Mario and Peach.
“-We need to spilt them up.” Bowser said crisply.
One of the goombas whispers to his neighbor, “I didn’t know they were dating.”
The slideshow continues, as Bowser speaks, “To do this, I need to-“ He pauses for dramatic effect. “Ignore Peach.”
His minions gasp in surprise and terror. A couple even faint.
Bowser smiled menacingly, enjoying the shock of his subjects. “The Princess is way too crafty, she would see through my plan within seconds. Instead, we will go after that jumping cockroach.” At this, his minions begin head for their usual positions. “Sit down you chumps!” Bowser roared. “We can’t kidnap short stache, it would just make Peach come running.” He hesitated. “We all remember how that turned out last time.”
At this statement, the entire kingdom of the Darklands feels a shiver crawl down their backs.
“Instead, I will make Princess Peach jealous of all the time Mario and I spend together, to the point that she will fall right into my arms to get back at the short-stack.”
At this, his minions share a quiet murmur.
Bowser huffed at their skepticism. “Your faith in my plan is inspiring. But with this last item, my plan becomes absolutely full-proof.” The King Koopa laughs dastardly. “Thanks to my newest spy within the Mushroom Kingdom, we now have access to the latest power-up-“ The slide changes to the next, revealing a pink mushroom with a crown. “The Super Crown!”
“What happened to the spy, your Brawniness?” A koopatrol called out.
Bowser’s face became grim. “They got what was coming to them.”
On the coast of Isle Delfino
Toadette sipped back her martini as she soaked in the sun on her own private yacht, the S.S Worth Every Coin. “Oh, Reginald! Another martini please!” The toad ordered.
Back at Bowser’s Castle
Bowser pulls out a Super Crown from behind his back. “Now behold!” He uses the Super Crown and becomes enveloped in light. When it dies down, a far more feminine and human looking Bowser. She grins with feral triumph, “I am your ruler, The Beautiful and Charming, Queen Bowsette!”
Kammy clapped wildly in the background, while Kamek and the majority of the Koopa Kingdoms’ forces avoid direct eye contact with their new queen. She filled out her dress very well. Bowsette on the other hand, finds the quiet of his troops a little insulting. Bowsette rubbed between her eyes as she muttered, “Like the moon over the day, my genius, brawn, and raw appeal are lost on these fools.”
