Y’ALL SHE’S GONNA TEAR UP.
@bowsnbots Liked for a Starter!
VOLATILE VOLTAGE. It shocks and shudders at the barrel end of the kit's custom arm cannon. A charging shot is kept steady from an off-hand's hold atop the chassis, energy building with an electric hum as each second carries onward. Then, when it's too much to bear, the stress of whirring engines begging to let the pressure escape, it's kept for five seconds longer past the breaking point.
Please, for this point I must stress: he was here to put the stress in stress test. Let his gadgets shatter into pieces if they must, for Doctor Light's Lab was where they could be rebuilt even greater, all the better.
It's only when the protective casing within the arm cannon wasn't enough to subdue jolts of electricity from zapping at clenched knuckles. Guess that was his cue! An internal trigger, it's released. And it's the flash of lightning, a ball of concentrated energy rolling like thunder through the air. It's blinding, vision reduced to white for the briefest of instances. Though, not long enough to miss the utter reduction of the test dummy down the shooting range. All that's left after the hit is a sizzling spot of soot.
...You'd think that, after such a grand display, the fox would be jumping with joy and satisfaction. The power in production was extraordinary!
Yet he only hummed quizzically. His Blast Cannon hissed as its paneling pulled itself apart with the press of a button, allowing excess steam and smoke to vent out. It billows. An internal fan can be heard as it works overtime and then some. "Tch... still overheating so soon... I'm able to reach the upper levels of the fuel cells without breaking anything, but it's only good for one shot before it has to catch its breath. A shot like that is powerful, but I'd rather it not be a last-ditch effort."
Then, a turn to the other, a head tilting with a question on his tongue. "D'you think there's anything that could help with the cooldown process? With so much power, overheating is inevitable if used too frequently, but I gotta figure out how to get more out of it before it's ready for proper use...! So, any ideas?"
⭐ !! I was gone for a while and so many of these blorbos are new to me :o
Muse matchmakin' || @bowsnbots
Okay so I agree with everything you put on yours, lemme see if I can help you fill in some of the blanks
Porky and Lucas. I mean. Duh. I hate myself and suffering is fun. But also, hilariously:
Porky and Cloud. If I had a nickel for every environmentalist, anti-capitalist RPG about a traumatized blond guy with zero-gravity hair and dead parents, with an evil military, a main antagonist who wants to destroy the world, and dead girl in pink whose death is instrumental in the story, I'd have— listen, Pigmasks are just Lucas's Shinra. Smash Bros exists to justify this. This has potential
Futaba and Prompto. Idk much about Persona, but based on what little I know about her, I think she and Prompto have a general interest in technology in common! I think as a hacker, Futaba is probably more in the weeds of things than Prompto is, but he's a photographer and has a general interest in machinery and the like, so I think this could work
Sonic and Sora. I feel like these two would get up to some friendly, but hyper-competitive shenanigans. I'd love to see it.
@bowsnbots || Teal Starter Call
"Yes?"
Teal didn't often come back to Monsteropolis with Hope when she visited, more often than not having work to do. But given how questionable things had been lately for both aetherlings' saftey, he had opted to stay close for now. Even if close meant remaining relatively closeby; working on repairing a relic of his weapons of choice while the more social and close members of the family caught up.
Even after so many years (since having stopped tying to emulate Hope herself at least), he still remained the stone soldier.
Maybe that's why being approached was a mild surprise, even if he didn't directly show the surprise itself in his voice or expression. "I assume I'm needed for something? Or did you just need somewhere quiet to sit for now that wasn't isolated?"

∗ 24﹕ is there a specific song that gets you in the mood for writing ?
I can't remember the prompt for this one but I'm knocking out ooc asks first || @bowsnbots
That depends on the muse! I usually default to the soundtrack for whatever muse I'm currently writing is from. It kinda helps me hear the dialogue in their voice when I write? I can't really write to songs that have lyrics, they distract me.

“Well, I suppose this beats the others finding out I’ve forgotten how to wield a sword and clamoring to teach me...”
It’s mumbled under her breath as she looks at the wind tome in her arms. She’d been trying to find other ways of self defense, other than her newly acquired hammer. Naturally the first person to take notice and bring it up was Robin. What tactician wouldn’t pick up on it?
“You sure about this, Ro?” Hope finally speaks up, looking over at her friend with a raised eyebrow. “We don’t even know if I can wield magic, let alone how it’ll react to the aether stuff...”
