Citrus scent.
Since memories triggered by scent are the strongest, send my muse a scent and see how they’ll react to it.

The smell immediate caught the professor’s attention, though he didn’t actually know where it was coming from. There was confusion on his face as he seemed to remember something. Something about summer -- back in his parent’s first house. He had to be maybe fourteen or fifteen at the time, when he was first getting into mechanics and science. On the especially hot days, when there wasn’t any way to escape the heat, he would stay in the basement to work on building things.
Near the back of his parent’s house, there was a tree that his mother used to grow lemons. It was a tree that she spent much time cultivating and growing. On only a few occasions every summer, she would pick the lemons, using them to make homemade lemonade, and would use the excess for salads and other meals. To help him during the summer heat, she’d bring down a glass of fresh lemonade with a little lemon wedge, and write little encouraging notes on the napkins.
