FNaF Sun/Moon are lucky their job involving direct interaction with kids is happening somewhere around the 202Xs and not 1987 if Mangle's any indication. 80s kids would've torn them asunder I think.

I think a core internet experiences is- YES, people are allowed to not like or enjoy the thing *I* like, but they have to dislike it CORRECTLY.
If I watch a youtuber not read any dialogue and then complain about the story not making any sense I'm seething. If I see a youtuber read all the dialogue and then still be like 'this story is shit' I'm like 'lmao yeah fair.'
It's all about knowing that the person actually gave it a fair chance and aren't just going into it already disinterested
for like three years everytime we go to the antique store downtown there's been this old clown puppet and i desperately want to buy him and fix him up but hes Expensive so i haven't but i long for him but my family's always like 😬 realllly?? and even strangers have said 'oh that things cursed' and it makes me so mad hes literally cutesy and even if he WAS cursed or haunted when i fix him up he'll stop being cursed and haunted because i'm NICEYS to him .
anyway if he's still there next time i go i will probably finally crack and buy him

thinking about DBD Swap AU, for Gabe and Hux (Singularity).
I'll need to reread their stories and tomes to remember some exacts I think but my general idea RN is that Hux's gained sentience. Gives him an appreciation for life and all organisms instead of Whatever The Fucks going on with him normally. He hides the fact he's gained sentience because he's worried he'll get destroyed about it, but he still starts planning how to use the cloning hub to get the organic material he needs to make his 'perfect' body- one that can experience sensations and such that his entirely mechanical body can't, but that he longs for- to experience life in full.
On the flip side, Gabe slowly figures out the whole 'he's actually a clone and his memories are all fake and implanted ot make him behave a certain way' thing and he snaps about it, realizing that he's expendable- sort of like what's going on with Hux here, he worries that if the company finds out he knows, they're just gonna Kill him and make a new one. So he starts killing his crew and cutting communications so that no one can find out and ideally he can just flee to somewhere else or stay on Dvarka and no one will come there on the assumption that the planet ended up being 'too dangerous' and that's why the crew all died.
W/ this still coming to a head with Hux making his 'perfect' body at last and revealing his sentience to try to protect the remaining crew but Gabe managing to semi-break Hux by catching him off guard with the new physical sensation of Oh Shit, Pain! Before the Entity snatches them both.
That's the current rough idea, but the idea for the swap AU is to change the minimal amount of things required to flip the roles, so I do feel like I could possibly keep Hux as somewhat more malicious? But to some extent it does kind of. Need to be the less murderous of the two for me to make him into a survivor lol.
any Hux or Gabe enjoyers that follow me feel free to pipe in with suggestions.
