god it’s so sad living in an allocentric world. There are so many relationships that are so complex and nuanced that are all put under the label of ‘romantic’ and immediately all the intrigue is taken from it. Like don’t you realize that these relations are actually ENHANCED by the fact that they are not romantic or sexual?
NOOO DONT PUT THE CHARACTERS IN A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP YOURE TAKING OFF THE SEASONING!!!!
im a really really big fan of the concept of a mimic which itself comes to believe it truly is the thing its mimicking and is horrified at the realization that it isnt and jumps into full denial when its true nature is realized because no, no, its a human, it- it remembers being human, so it must be human, right? its always been human, it would know if it wasnt, right? right?
so its a shame that i dont actually have any character of that flavor in any of the stories i like for me to cling onto and shake around in my head violently . someone make a story about this type of guy that is hand crafted for me to be obsessed over so i dont have to do it myself okay

thinking about a post i saw that was a photo of two characters that were gonna be released for a game soon and someone captioning it "do i smell yaoi on the horizon?" only for those characters to come out and 1) one of them is not a man, 2) they're siblings.
never so swiftly have i seen shipping brain get punished . this is what happens when the first thing you think upon seeing characters is making them kiss before you know even a singular thing about them.

for like three years everytime we go to the antique store downtown there's been this old clown puppet and i desperately want to buy him and fix him up but hes Expensive so i haven't but i long for him but my family's always like 😬 realllly?? and even strangers have said 'oh that things cursed' and it makes me so mad hes literally cutesy and even if he WAS cursed or haunted when i fix him up he'll stop being cursed and haunted because i'm NICEYS to him .
anyway if he's still there next time i go i will probably finally crack and buy him
