Hello, my name is Karim, and I'm from Gaza.
My family and I live in a tent near the sea after losing our home in the war. The tent offers no protection from the summer heat or the winter cold, and we face harsh living conditions with widespread disease and difficulty accessing basic necessities.
This video was taken before I was injured and left our area; we now live by the sea.
I no longer have a home or any source of income, and I rely on aid to feed my family. While searching for food, I was shot in the neck, and the bullet exited through my back, fracturing my spine. I now require ongoing treatment and care, but leaving Gaza for medical treatment remains extremely difficult.
My father is elderly and suffers from chronic illnesses. Despite his own health challenges, he tries to help me and provide what he can for our basic needs. My wife is pregnant, and I cannot afford the necessary medications or proper nutrition for her and the baby due to the difficult circumstances and lack of resources.
I am appealing to you for support and assistance. Every donation, no matter how small, can help us obtain food, medicine, and basic necessities, and give us hope of overcoming this hardship.
