Alien: but. It's not even cloudy.

Human: yeah. You're here in the tropics. Remember?

Alien: ... You're being ridiculous. Back on my planet, the rains are big and heavy.

Human: same here, those are monsoon rains though. What I smell is your standard shower. [Tropics people, y'know what I mean by shower].

Alien: it won't be that bad.

Human: bring the light jacket and hat.

Alien: I won't need it!

Twenty minutes later:

Human: told you.

Alien: how is this standard rain.

Human: welcome to the jungle. It'll be gone in anywhere between. 8 hours to ten minutes.

Alien: what?

Human: doesn't smell that thick. So... Ten minute range.

Alien: ... I thought you were Australian.

Human: I thought I told you I was also from the tropics. Also, Australia's even worse. There the rain can go for a week, to a minute.

Alien: ....

Human: not to mention it's COLD.

Alien: what?

Human: now get in, you're gonna contract malaria or some shit.

Alien: what??

Human: Doesn't matter, get in before you explode like a water balloon.

So like. What if that doesn't work? At a certain range, you'll run out of ammunition.

Or your guns can't target that many targets who are also battering your ships.

So like, smaller ships can weave in and out of predetermined lines of fire/basic calculations and or other ships can fucking fire shorter range but equally powerful shots at the bigger ships. Right?

I just had a really neato thought about the RWBY thing lol;

So. Atlas is a professional military. As a professional military, they need some level of standardisation. Harriet is part of a prototype team that's experimenting hunter style teams doing hunter work; under ATLAS military complex. BECUASE OF THAT; Harret's weapons are the current version that can be used by select members of Atlas military (like her)

And because it's the militaries, there could be some dumb ass military jokes slapped onto it that can quietly be added in animations or some shit lmao.
