One thing that I love about the Yokai Watch manga is that, unlike his anime counterpart who was mostly just a normal kid and a straightman to all the weird comedy around him, manga Nate feels much more like a serious protagonist.

Just the amount of times he's about to sacrifice himself to save his Yokai friends is more than enough proof of that 😂

of the two full episodes i watched of season 2 yesterday it's great so far. though also confusing. still don't get why humans can seemingly see the classic yo-kai fine (but also nate still has to scan them) but i mean good for them, definitely makes scaring people easier gghghfbfbd-
