and i would sacrifice an entire year if it meant that our boys could remain as seven until the end. unfortunately beshit doesn’t see it that way. enhypen is their money makers who they profit off of without slightest hint of hesitance. instead heeseung sacrificed an entire year for engene:

now enhypen will forever be seven to me. but that doesn’t mean i will not continue to support their careers in the future. unfortunately it does appear that enhypen will continue their activities with one less member. that does not mean i will stop supporting them—nor heeseung.
however i will continue to boycott hybe and beshit until heeseung does release his first solo project. not because i do not support them anymore—because the entire execution of this transition was not only abrupt and messy (shocker) but also unfair to the members.
i’ve mentioned this before and i will mention it again. the members never received their own closure given the abruptness of the situation. their last live performance? six. their last award show? six. their last fan meeting? six.
i don’t even care about my own closure because i don’t have the connection they have to one another. it’s quite literally in their name. in our name. it’s been their message since day one: “connection, discovery, and growth”
they have grown up together, they have discovered themselves together, they have connected the world together.
but beshit took that connection away without giving them the closure they deserved: even if it was one last concert together in melbourne—which would have fulfilled jake’s dream.
so no i am not boycotting enhypen exclusively. i am boycotting the entirety of hybe until i see fit and i have determined that to be when heeseung releases his first solo project. because they have prevented this for years because of their own greed—not heeseung’s. and only when heeseung’s “distinct musical vision” that they allegedly “respect” but provided us on “short notice” despite coming “after extensive diliberation” is proven will i end my boycott. because that will solidify whether or not it is his choice to me. or of this entire situation was a fucked up fever dream—which i will no doubt be experiencing within the next couple of hours because again i am writing this shit high.

oh and to all the bitches who are boycott criticizers, y’all can fuck right off. there are other ways to express your support for enhypen than streaming their music and purchasing their albums—weverse is an excellent example of that. in my personal opinion, it’s hypocritical to voice your disapproval for a company and then endorse that company by increasing their capitalistic value. y’all are sensitive as fuck if you think the members won’t understand. they are not children—they are adults who understand what boycotting means and it’s purpose. i don’t think half of you know what boycotting means so here’s a definition:
