What gets me, though, is the request to refrain from airing ads during programs "known to be offensive." Not so much that program managers know it's offensive and air it anyway, but that nobody really has to explain which programs they're talking about or prove that they should be on the list. Really puts the kibosh on any defenders those programs may have, yeah?

My priorities are different than usual 17 year olds, I'm DYING to see Rush Limbaugh OFF the air.
I was to an extent shocked by his words towards Sandra Fluke, but it's stereotypical of "conservatives" to be racist, sexist, and discriminative against practically anyone they can pick on. But alas, there is hope. All my fellow high school attendees were excited for no school today, but I was MORE than excited to see how many sponsors have pulled from Limbaugh's show. His blatant disrespect towards women is stifling the progress towards freedom that so many Americans have worked, and even DIED for. No more will anyone be bullied by fanatical right-wing conservatives. Freedom from opression, freedom from discrimination, freedom for ALL.

Every bully goes too far one day. For Joe McCarthy it was the Army-McCarthy Hearings. For Bobby Knight it was choking a player. Perhaps—if our Nation is lucky—this is the end of the line for Rush Limbaugh. He knows he stepped in it. You can hear the fear in his voice. There is no justification for his bullshit any longer and anybody who defends him is a coward, a fool or both.He is down from a self-inflicted wound and it is time to kick him.

It was in every phrase. Every word. He was pleading. Whiney. And full of self-pity. He verbally thrashed and sought a scapegoat. Naturally he decided that all of his actions were President Obama’s fault. Fear was in his voice as he tried to craft an alternate reality where President Obama’s support for women to be in control of their health care choices forced poor old Rushbo to call Sandra Fluke a slut and a whore.
