Yesterday was the last night before the kids go and visit their dad again.

We picked some plums after daycare, played a little bit on the playground and headed home.

I made chicken with fries and salad for breakfast and chocolate cupcakes for dessert. 🧁

Then I suggested we stop the tv and go on the porch instead. We had a really wholesome moment. The Granny nextdoor also joined (of course) and we played "store delivery" game. Basically I was on the ordering food and the kids were pretending to go buy it and deliver it to me on a scooter.

The weather was nice and the atmosphere really cozy.

It was time for shower and bedtime stories.

The boys fell asleep really quick, but i was also tired and didn't notice when I fell asleep either. 😴 But I remember Borko saying "Mom, I don't want to go to dad's .." and then Ogi replied "And I want to go! I love daddy the most!"

People would think what Ogi said would hurt me (he said it in front of granny too and she immediately tried to fix it - "oh but you love mom a lot too, right, right?").

In reality what Borko said hurts a lot more. It makes me glad and relieved Ogi is having a great time with his dad. There is nothing I want more than for them to be happy wherever and with whoever they are.

I said to Ogi "You really enjoy being with dad, ha?" and he made a big smile while answering "Yesss, my daddy, my daddy, I can't wait to be with daddy!". ☺️

This made me think that I really am becoming a safe space for the boys. They are not scared to hurt my feelings and this is how it should be. Just being themselves. ❤️ So I take that as a win!

Vacation is over and it's time to go back to work.

Today's recap

We started the day with cleaning the porch

After that straight to the beach

I did something.. questionable. We found a bunch of fruits just left on a stone. I looked for a seller but there was none, so we just picked two cups. Ogi got plums and Borko figs and a pear.

A few moments later I got worried if that was okay .. like.. you never know. Random fruits left like that.. 🥲

Luckily no problems whatsoever.

Then a walk in the town and the kids played with water

Traveling back home ..

I was thirsty and hungry and tired, but first .. showered the kids (hair day today as well), put them in their pajamas, played a cartoon (pink panther), made a salad, gave them a warm dinner, washed the full sink with dishes, did the laundry, made the bed and bunch of other stuff ..

They fell asleep really early, but not easy at all ..

Lots of crazy and hard moments during the day too, like at some point I carried both of the kids, plus a backpack, plus an umbrella.. Borko was on my back and Ogi in front .. but anyway, ignoring all this, don't feel like writing about it now, just wanted to save the photos and cool memories for later. ❤️

Tough two days .. I've been extra mean to the kids, idk what's going on, another grow sprouts or what, but they are uncontrollable.. Ogi has been hitting me for the smallest thing, or scream and tantrum if I say "no". Not even negotiate, just instantly start to scream. If something doesn't go his way, he will flip his plate full of food and not even blink, or push everything from the table on the ground .. The smallest wound will make him cry and also disabled. Like, he scratched his leg today and instantly went "I can't walk anymore, you must carry me". And he would just sit on the ground and not move even if his life depends on it.

Meanwhile Borko is doing... alright. Except that he wants absolutely everything that his brother wants or takes and will fight him to death until he gets it. Yesterday there was a brutal fight in the corridor for a hoodie. He literally pushed Ogi on the ground and started hitting and kicking him, full blown bully style and no mercy even when Ogi was crying and screaming "Stop".

At least he apologized later and hugged him. Ogi refuses to apologize no matter what. He would just talk back and repeat my words until drive me crazy.

So much anger and drama.

I tried harsh discipline, but tomorrow I will try another way.

Emblematic day for me as a mom of boys. I knew Borko has a crush on Adriana, but yesterday they took it to the next level.

Another girl Maria from Ogi's group also joined.

I think I'm raising a little player. 😭

I will blink and he will start bringing them home. 😭 Ogi too!

So many things happening and I have no time to write, but let me just drop some photos with captions to have something to come back in the future and remember this moment. 🥹

Sunday morning - lots of decision making: should we go to the beach or the mall or in the park... We end up deciding to do everything. 😊 The kids agreed on traveling a lot with the bus so who am I to say no.

First mall, because the day was really hot. We had some cake and the kids played on the sliding tree, but they were done with it after 15 min play, which was unfortunate, considering the one hour bus ride. 🥲

Another bus ride, a playground, fresh plums that Borko collected and some Franklin on the tv while I'm preparing stuff for the beach.

Beach. Really disturbing view - someone had drawn and 6 policemen were carrying a body in black bag across the beach. They passed right next to me.

I had a knot in my throat for a while, but luckily the kids didn't see anything - they were already jumping in the water, absolutely zoned out.

We enjoyed someone's kite and Borko was like "That's Quetzalcoatlus!" .. the boy knows so many dinosaur names, it's crazy. 😳

The way home was rough - they were really tired, but expressed the exact opposite "we don't wannaaaaa leaveeee, we want to playyyy moreeee, uaaa uaaa".

But then we went home, took a shower, quick dinner and bed and they fell asleep for a split second.

I was happy for a moment .. didn't know what was coming.. didn't expect they would wake up at 4:30am already full with energy and ready for the day. 🥲

Oof, the last two days just flew by ..

When I'm having the kids with me, it's like a constant race with time right after I open my eyes.

Yesterday it was disappointing. Had too much work, couldn't finish the things I wanted to. Didn't prep the best dinner. Then Ogi had fever in the middle of the night and ear pain .. so I didn't sleep between 1 and 4am ..then everyone woke up at 6:30 fresh and ready for adventures.

Beach day today even tho they said it's going to rain. Pic 2 - Borko is filling Ogi's pants with sand and they play-prettend they poop their pants. 🤦

Aaaand it started raining so we quickly got back home. And thank God, because my head was hurting a lot for going out without having coffee and Borko was throwing tantrums for the smallest stuff.

At home I made dessert, while the boys were creating more chaos around me.

Now everyone is well fed and sleeping. Time for a little break and then repeat.
