Think back to the “Land Before Time” and imagine walking in a jungle-like Jurassic world amongst Tyrannosaurus-Rex, Brachiosaurus’, and other prehistoric creatures. Channel your inner-scientist and throw a party in this theme for your birthday boy this year.

Start by sending dinosaur-inspired invitations in rustic brown, gray, or orange envelopes. This natural color scheme—browns, grays, greens, and oranges—certainly fits our vision of the dinosaur age. Try getting dinosaur stamps from your local post office!

Decorate your party space with faux foliage and blow up dinosaurs from your local party store. For your table, use a dark brown tablecloth, green plates, and greenery, plastic dinosaurs, and painted Styrofoam eggs for the center. Try lining your walk (whether to the front door or a backyard setting) with dinosaur footprints and welcoming the guests with tan excavation hats and a small bag filled with dinosaur egg candies, a mini dinosaur excavation kit—the main activity of the day—and any additional treats.
