A Poem

To all the kids who never stopped drawing in their class notebooks and never stopped attempting van Gogh-isms on lined notebook paper and never stopped dreaming of swirling stars, ignoring the 5 centimeter holy interruptions on the edges of their imaginations, and who despite growing older, with odd limbs growing longer, their hair growing faster, decided that the infinity of possibility would always call collect and lead them to on the road adventures, stealing cars, and sleeping under stars, and opening old scars to tell old tails and make new failures while finite reality would return them to their cellular lives and leave the open ranges, the curved roads poorly paved, just a distant island on the horizon; a Remi B. stranded on a fatal shore waving at a Paradise.
