food network cooking competition au with the lost characters and competition show of ur choice

i believe i have informed u of my position as a chopped megafan, so this will be chopped, (but also i remembered tht my favorite non-competitive food network show OF ALL TIME, ace of cakes, did a lost episode once,)

aaanyways! sawyer is ted allen, but lacks the class and suave of the actual ted allen, so he basically just makes fun of all of the competitors the whole time. no one knows why he is still the host

i’m going to put ben, juliet, and richard (three people who you havent met yet kes im sorry) as the judges, because they seem the types to have refined palettes and pretentious tastes

ok first and foremost there are more than four competitors lmao who CARES about the rules of chopped. (i do. i do. i care about the rules of chopped, they are fucking sacred. but for the sake of this au.)

jack is the guy who’s trying to make HEALTHY and GOOD food 4 the whole fam, but all of it is really really bland and tasteless. he gets eliminated first round. who cares.

john puts gross shit into his food because he thinks it makes him Unique but all of the judges hate him (except for ben, who thinks he is Interesting but also views him as a Threat for some reason) and his food so they get rid of him first round. 

hurley is rlly rlly good but he forgets a basket ingredient second round. viewers at home love him and are disappointed when he is eliminated 4 that.

KATE is a risk-taker, and does a lot of weird experimental stuff bc her gf (claire!) told her it would be COOL and IMPRESS THE JUDGES!!! she makes it 2 desert, but is elimated then bc the ice cream machine broke while she was using it

charlie and desmond just joke around with hurley the whole time, but charlie gets eliminated first round bc he somehow ran out of time while plating, and desmond fucks up third round bc he gets a really bad migraine so he forfeits and goes home

sun wins because she is better than all of us
