hi what kinda shoes does spitzel wear asking for no reason in particular khjggh

Decided to do a better ref for his clothing since I know that people are not used to traditional orthodox Jewish clothing and it can be difficult to find a good reference in photos since each community follows different rules.

Spitzel likes to use formal shoes (Not specific, it can be any formal shoe of your choice) with black socks for everyday btw.

About the Shtreimel version, it is mostly used for important and formal events, but can be drawn in everyday situations.

So yeah, he only has formal wear in his wardrobe so you can build on that.

These guys live rent free in my head.

I was inspired by Junji Ito artwork and try to pull off his creepy eye shadow style thingy (Which I don't think I accomplished 😅😅)

I also think I was kind of inspired by Chainsaw Man x American Gothic artwork by Basstual.

And of course we all know about the Barbie meme.

I used Magicposer for these pictures because it saves me a huge amount of time. Though I should go back to practicing anatomy and proportions in sketchbook, I just don't show off my lame anatomy skills to everybody 😅.

However, I did had to redo Judith's hands in the second picture manually and they look so chunky 🫠

But I'm glad it's all over!

The best experience doing OCs is simply taking so much time researching different cultures, religions, studying historical periods and learning different languages to build the character's story (and also the fact that you can use your character to criticize things in society). Not only is this good for the character development but it also enriches your knowledge. My stories and creativity have improved LOTS because of this, compared to my younger self who just created edgy ass characters with terribly random backstories...
