Anon from yesterday! After looking at my bras and wearing one again (quarantine has me in tank tops these days) and I think the problem is that the band is too wide? The wiring in the band (around the armpit) hits my rolls when I sit down and either ends up poking my side, or I pull the band up and it's too close to my arm pit. I've never been able to find bras with a narrow band in my size though. All the bands have 4+ hooks at my size. I'm plus size so I don't have a lot of options...
what size do you wear? i'm in the full fit range too, completely sized out of US brands, and i find that the elomi group (elomi, freya, fantasie) makes comfortable bras designed for full fit and are usually cheaper than high end american brands.
i get what you're saying with the band, i've had a few bras with that problem as well, and it does suck when there's an additional wire there that digs in. but! your band should be sitting pretty much parallel to your underwire for it to give you the best support. if it rides up while you're wearing it, or shifts around without much difficulty, you probably need a smaller band (or a fresh bra).
like i said, i don't know what size you wear but i would recommend looking into UK bras (keep in mind they have a different size conversion) and if you're in the 32-38 band range look into freya. i wear almost Exclusively freya bras because almost all of mine still have two hooks and a thinner band/thinner straps. plus they're SUPER pretty bras which can be hard to find once you're in the full fit range
i'll dump links in a reblog, im on mobile rn lol
