Sorry, when the time came to officially close the entry forms for submissions, I was a bit disappointed in the low amount of submissions it had received. So I thought I'd quietly postpone a short bit.
Which became a long bit, where I then felt that simply going back and finally closing the forms without an impressive showing would be embarrassing, so I just kinda... let it sit. And the weeks became months, which became an almost half year.
Well, I'm finally kicking myself together to get this started. We have 25 submissions, submitting a total of 22 areas once overlaps have been accounted for (Colony 9 twice (both specifying the XC1 version) and Sylvalum thrice).
While a power of two amount of entries is more important in elimination brackets than it is for Swiss System Tournaments, I did think that 22 was an unimpressive enough showing that I should try to pad it a bit, so I have elected to add 10 areas of my own choosing. 9 of these are settlements from the first two games (which I feel is the least biased selection I could make), while the tenth is Satorl Marsh, simply because that area was mentioned in the propaganda of a submission, despite it itself funnily enough not being submitted (shame, because it might be my personal favorite from 1, which might also factor into me breaking the aforementioned pattern in mod additions here).
Seeding is less important for this style of tournament, since there are no actual knockouts, so bad matchups won't ruin any one entrant's chances early on. Because of this, I'm doing the first round by the highly scientific method known as sorting the areas alphabetically and pairing neighbors against each other.
This gives us the following round 1 matchups:
Alba Cavanich vs. Alcamoth
Argentum vs. Auresco
Captocorn Peak vs. Colony 4
Colony 6 vs. Colony 9
Elaice Highway vs. Elysium
Erythia Sea vs. Fonsa Myma
Fonsett Village vs. Frontier Village
Great Cotte Falls vs. Hidden Machina Village
Land of Morytha vs. Leftherian Archipelago
Lost Colony vs. New Los Angeles
Noctilum vs. Primordia
Sacred Water Cavern vs. Satorl Marsh
Swordmarch vs. Sylvalum
The City vs. The Kingdom of Uraya
Theosoir vs. Torigoth
Urayan Stomach vs. Valak Mountain
If the whole debacle with the two submission polls because of the image submission option turns out to be the reason that submissions were sparse, I'll be kicking myself, since I only got image submissions for Uraya, Sylvalum (twice) and Noctilum.
Oh, and given we're trying out a new tournament format, maybe it's for the better we do a smaller one. With 32 entries, it'd be 5 rounds to find a number one, so to get a feel for the finer rankings, I'm thinking somewhere in the ballpark of 8-10 rounds.
Welcome to the Mainstage, the inaugural Cuntiest Pokémon Bracket!
In this contest, Pokémon will go head-to-head and compete for your votes to determine which Pokémon from all nine generations is serving the most CUNT!
Bracket Voting begins on July 7th! Don't miss out!
Tournament Rules, Schedule, and FAQ under the cu(n)t.
Slay ya later~!
Format/Rules
Pokémon will initially compete in Qualifier rounds against other Pokémon of their Type from their Generation. The winning Pokémon will go on to represent its Type and Generation in the Bracket. Dual-Type Pokémon will appear in Qualifier polls for both of their Types, but only once in the Bracket itself.
In the event that there are too many Pokémon of a given Type from a given Generation to fit into a single Tumblr poll, the group will be split up into two or three based on National Pokédex # for Generations I-VI, and Regional Pokédex # for Generations VII-IX. The winners of each poll will then go head-to-head to determine who gets the spot in the Bracket.
For Pokémon with multiple Forms or Regional Variants, special Pre-Qualifier voting will be held. The winning Form/Variant will go on to compete for a spot in the Bracket against other Pokémon of its Type/Types from the Generation where the Form/Variant first made its debut (e.g., if Alolan Persian beats Kantonian Persian in Pre-Qualifiers, Alolan Persian will compete in Qualifiers against other Gen VII Dark-Type Pokémon. Kantonian Persian will not appear in Qualifier voting).
EXCEPTIONS:
Cosplay Pikachu and Cap Pikachu – Prequalifiers for Pikachu will occur in two rounds. First, a winner will be chosen from both the various Cosplay Pikachu and Cap Pikachu forms. Then, the winning Cosplay Pikachu and Cap Pikachu forms will compete against the classic Pikachu design in a three-way vote. The winning form will represent Pikachu in Qualifiers against other Generation I Electric-Type Pokémon, regardless of when the Form made its debut.
Unown – Because Unown has 28 Forms (more than the maximum number of options that can be included in a Tumblr poll), Unown's Forms will compete in four groups of seven, split alphabetically. The winning Forms from each group will compete against each other in one final poll to determine which Form will represent Unown in Qualifiers against other Generation II Psychic-Type Pokémon, regardless of when the Form made its debut.
Vivillon – Similarly, Vivillon's Forms will compete in two groups of ten, split alphabetically. The winning Forms from each group will compete against each other in one final poll to determine which Form will represent Vivillon in Qualifiers against other Generation VI Bug-Type and Flying-Type Pokémon.
Spiky-Eared Pichu and White-Striped Basculin – Due to the superficial nature of the differences between these Forms and their classic designs, the winning Form will represent Pichu in Qualifiers against other Generation II Electric-Type Pokémon and Basculin in Qualifiers against other Generation V Water-Type Pokémon, respectively, regardless of when the Form made its debut.
Dialga and Palkia – Regardless of whether Dialga or Palkia's normal Forms or Origin Formes win in Pre-Qualifiers, Dialga and Palkia will be represented in their respective Type Qualifiers for Generation IV, regardless of when the winning Form made its debut.
Nidoran ♀︎ and Nidoran ♂︎ – For the purposes of this contest, Nidoran ♀︎ and Nidoran ♂︎ will be considered two forms of the same Pokémon and will therefore compete against each other in Pre-Qualifiers, such that only one is represented amongst Generation I Poison-Type Pokémon.
Genesect, Mimikyu, Cramorant, Maushold and Dudunsparce – Due to the superficial nature of the differences between these Forms and their classic designs, Pre-Qualifier polls will not be held for these Pokémon. No Drive Genesect, Disguised Form Mimikyu, Cramorant's normal Form, Family of Four Maushold, and Two-Segment Form Dudunsparce, respectively, will move directly to Qualifiers.
Sinistea, Polteageist, Sinistcha, Poltchageist – Because Form differences between these Pokémon are rarely visible, Pre-Qualifier polls will not be held for these Pokémon.
Arceus and Silvally – Because the difference between these Forms is item-based and changes each Pokémon's Type, Pre-Qualifier Polls will not be held. Arceus and Silvally will move directly to Qualifiers for Generation IV and Generation VII Normal-Type Pokémon, respectively.
Kyurem, Necrozma, and Calyrex – Because Kyurem's, Necrozma's, and Calyrex's Forms are more like fusions between them and other Pokémon, these alternate Forms (i.e., White Kyurem, Black Kyurem, Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, Ice Rider Calyrex, Shadow Rider Calyrex) will not be appearing in this contest. Additionally, Ultra Necrozma will not appear in the contest due to its reliance on a generational gimmick (Z-Power). Kyurem, Necrozma, and Calyrex will each be represented by their standard Forms and move directly to Qualifier rounds for their respective Types and Generations.
Alcremie – Because Alcremie functionally has over 70 forms, Alcremie will be represented by Vanilla Cream, Strawberry Sweet Alcremie in Qualifiers against other Generation VIII Fairy-Type Pokémon. Sorry! Maybe next time.
Mega Evolutions, Gigantamax Forms, and Terastallized Pokémon do not count as Form differences. UPDATE 5/4/2025: Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon will be considered as Mega Evolutions, regardless of Bulbapedia categorization, due to using the same in-game mechanism as other Mega Evolutions, and will not be appearing anywhere in the contest.
In Bracket rounds, Pokémon will compete in 1v1 polls and progress through a single-elimination bracket to determine the Cuntiest Pokémon of 2025. The bracket will be seeded based on results on Qualifiers, as well as aesthetic, lore, and other relevant qualities as determined by the moderation team and seeding council. This is to keep the bracket fair in the event of BYEs, and to keep a 1v1 format.
Please vote based on which Pokémon is serving the most cunt. Not your favorite, not who is most likely to win in a battle, not who you think is the cutest. This bracket is about one thing and one thing only: Cunt.
User-submitted propaganda is not allowed in the Ask Box. This is to keep the Ask Box clear for actual questions. Propaganda in the tags is HIGHLY encouraged and will be considered when seeding the tournament.

FAQ
"What is 'cunt?'"
The meaning of the word "cunt," as it is used here, originated in Black gay and trans communities throughout the United States—particularly in the Ballroom scene. It initially was used to denote exceptional displays of femininity. Its meaning also encompasses "a desirable, energetic, sexual, undeniable kind of confidence" and "hitting a really high mark in terms of one’s appearance, one’s attitude, and presence."
Are you the same people who made [insert other Pokémon tournament here]?
We are not, nor have we ever been, affiliated with any prior cunty Pokémon tournaments, nor are we affiliated with any other Pokémon-related tournaments hosted on this website.
Where can I nominate Pokémon for this tournament?
Unfortunately, this tournament is not based on user submissions. This is to give each Pokémon a shot at the crown, and to keep the moderation team sane.
Where can I submit my propaganda for a given Pokémon?
Propaganda is not allowed in the Ask Box. You may write propaganda for your pick in the tags when you reblog the poll!
What is a BYE?
A BYE occurs when there is an uneven number of competitors in a tournament. It results in one competitor, usually a higher seed, automatically moving forward to the next round of the tournament.
What is seeding?
Seeding is a process through which competitors are ranked prior to a tournament, such that competitors with a higher likelihood of winning do not compete against each other directly until later in the tournament. We are seeding this tournament due to the high number of BYEs that will occur, and to keep the tournament engaging for our voters.
Isn't that kind of rigging the tournament in a given Pokémon's favor?
No. By this logic, March Madness, the NHL Playoffs, and the FIFA World Cup would all be rigged. Cinderella runs, in which a low-seeded competitor does far better than initially expected, are always possible (and magical!).
What qualifies the seeding council to make these decisions?
In addition to being longtime fans of the Pokémon franchise, the seeding council is comprised of competitive e-sports tournament organizers, drag artists, and individuals with other kinds of experience and/or Homosexual Audacity that give them the expertise necessary to make decisions of this nature.
we’re officially done with the new round one polls for both leagues! they’ll still be active for a while, but new polls will be slowing down to 3 or 4 a day until the underrated blorbo bracket starts
Okay, so, life's been hectic, I do not have the spare hours to put into a proper submission form! I tried, I promise, but too many people asked and I keep feeling worse about it.
So, here's the deal, an empty version of the bracket:
Download it, fill it in, send your version to my askbox (feel free to just send a list, if it's in order it's chill)
I will copy paste the submissions which spares me a LOT of time and I'll just see when I close them again.
