With the mechanical info revealed about the upcoming IDs (Cinq East Section 3 Don and Firefist Office Survivor Gregor), it has been confirmed that the Don ID will be a combination of Poise and Burn. The (English-speaking side of) fandom likes to make combo-names for specific hybrid builds (most prominently Bloise [Bleed + Poise], and rarely Chupture [Charge + Rupture]), and so trying to make a combo name for Poise + Burn has resulted in...
Well.
The entire joke of this MS Paint doodle.
The only other alternative would be "Buise", which as somebody else I mentioned it to says, "just makes me think of being punched or going to the bathroom and discovering i have mystery bruises on my legs or torso" lmao.
Pose + Burn = Porn 83
BECAME AS ONE {Silksong}
[Body horrors your Doomed Bug Yaoi]
(Also, woe, Silksong Spoilers upon ye below. Be warned)
So, I've been Skonging It™, and I find that I quite like the Cogwork Dancers and the Green Prince. I've done the Green Prince's questline, so I know about the Doomed Yaoi™ and their fate for you to get the Conjoined Heart. It ended up reminding me of a certain bit of Dream Nail text found in Hollow Knight (which I made sure to look up to see if I was right), from the large corpse that you get the Love Key item from:
Too long... spent together. We become as one...
So I thought: With the dead husks of the Green Prince and one of the Cogwork Dancers are right next to each other, what if they somehow ended up physically fusing together? Wouldn't that be a fitting fate for such lovers? Who adore each other such, so intertwined in heart and soul, yet cursed to be torn from each other? Why not find a way to become closer than one could ever fathom and never be taken apart again?
Could be Silk fuckery, Void fuckery, maybe even Lifeblood ("Plasmium") fuckery with the mutations seen in the Wormways. Either way, two end up becoming as one. A happy ending in this joining of flesh and metal, no matter how much it goes against the laws of life and how horrifying it looks to others. 83
So I made something horror-ey with those two and that quote >83
Also, a bonus under the cut >83
I hope you like it 83
Meur's Imitation Station {Limbus Company}
Inspired by shenanigans from the newest Limbus Company Intervallo (Spring Cultivation). If you want to hear some more detailed thoughts (with some spoilers), then you can look here.
TL;DR: Meursault does some shenanigans involving imitating Sinclair to fuck with him. He seems to have a silly, cheeky side to him, so I decided to make a sheet of him imitating the other Sinners (+ Xichun).
We only saw him imitate Sinclair, but the idea of him ribbing on the other Sinners makes me laugh. They didn't even reuse the Midspring Night's Dream 2 sprite for it lmao.
This was a lot of me looking at the official dialogue portrait sprites.
In order, row-by-row from left-to-right:
Sinclair (quote from the event), Xichun ("Big bro, quit acting like such a dumbass"), Yi Sang ("This is... ideal"), Faust ("No need for such a question. Faust knows all outcomes, after all")
Don Quixote ("HARK!!! Have thou heard the illustrious tales of the Red Sack? Wouldst though like me to regale thee?"), Ryoshu ("Hm. A.D.W.F."), Hong Lu ("Wowzers~! Wasn't that interesting?"), Heathcliff ("Let's knock these knobheads right on their arses!")
Ishmael ("really? That's the first thing you think of when you think of imitating me?"), Rodion ("Dante~~~!"), Outis ("Excellent thinking, Executive Manager!"), Gregor ("Hey, manager bud, do you really think this is a good idea?")
And filling in some empty space between rows 2 and 3 is Dante (tickockticktock).
Meursault deserves to take the piss out of his coworkers. And yes, the Rodion imitation and the reaction to it is a reference to A Midspring Night's Dream 2 lmao.
I hope you like it! 83
Giggly Bladesinger Meur {PMoon}
So. The Mnestic Experience trailer, huh.
The Corrosion for "Shadow-Vested Bladesinger" has Meur laughing like a maniac. Meur isn't exactly known for being a giggly bitch lmao. Both the Awakening and Corrosion have him taking a swig of something before going to town, and we don't know what's in that drink, sooooo... Hammered Corroded Meur™. SWIGS FOR EVERYONE~!
I hope you like it! 83
Woe, silly Arlecchino meme upon ye.
Simon, why did you design Arlie's fancy killing machine body Like That. Arlie rocking a tits-out look under the jacket is an Arlie thing, but the articulated human toes and the inhumanly-long segmented robot tongue? Really?
Ref images for the shenanigans under a cut.
Woe, more Dandy's World upon ye. Have some partially-colored sketches.
Been having this DW idea brewing in my head for a while, now. I've already seen a few people throw around ideas about the Twisted Toons "Un-Twisting" in some way, so I decided to take my own spin on that. Recovering from such a state, what with the mysterious nature of how Twisting works in general and the mysterious powers of Ichor as a whole, is bound to do... "weird" things to them. They're back to themselves, but they're still different.
So, introducing: Awoken Twisteds.
How an individual Twisted awakens varies. Some simply "grew" and "adapted" to the increased Ichor, others found a way to look into themselves and attempt to work past their original shortcomings, others simply grew bored of their own madness and decided to become sane again, etc., and this variance is possibly exceeded by their physical variance, though they tend to share some traits between them.
Losing their red sclerae and pupils, their sclerae generally becoming white again while the red glow in their pupils changes to a bright blue, aligning with the general blue sheen of Ichor as seen on the Ichor currency and Main Character nerfed health icons. The way this blue manifests in their eyes can vary.
For any parts of their body that had been sufficiently altered by their Twisting (i.e. Shelly's lower half, Cosmo's right arm, Sprout's left arm and scarf, etc.), the Ichor will congeal and segment into something resembling a jointed exoskeleton or the joints of a doll. Some may retain a sludgy consistency, however (see Boxten).
As for gameplay for the hypothetical playable Awoken Twisteds, non-Mains have both a(n enhanced) passive and an active (whether standard active or a toggle), while Mains have an active and two passives. I'm not very good at numbers lmao.
Now, for design notes for the individual designs I've put here + concept art, under a cut:
Look. Arlie. I love your fight, I really do. I'm having lots of fun with it even though D5 is blowing my shit smoove off at light speed (mainly in the second phase).
What I don't love is that stupid flying energy buzzsaw projectile attack. Following up behind it with a normal attack? Fair, even though it also kicks my ass. Following it up with a damn-near full-arena-clearing Fury attack that either kills me outright while I'm trying to deal with the saws, or immediately following it up with a fast grab that I can't dodge while I'm still in blockstun from the saws? Go fuck yourself with that wannabe-Millia Rage bullshit lmao.
So. Like. Does anyone have any tips for that particular combo?
