Based on this article, I might have to stop watching Glee. I think that it's really important that creators of art are credited when their work is used. It's obvious that in this case Landers' original steps were used by Glee, and their feelings about it are basically "Well, now people are seeing your work on a bigger stage, so you should just be happy and shut up, even if we don't credit you." This reveal, coupled with the Jonathon Coulton fiasco from this weeks episode, as well as other artists who have claimed their their work was stolen by Glee makes me highly suspicious. I don't trust the higher ups on this show, and I am considering not watching anymore. Regardless of whether or not I think the show's good (for the record, I don't), this kind of shit is inexcusable.
The article is over a month old though, so some of this information might be out of date. I will look around, but if anyone has any further information about this, I would really like to know what you know.
