       “charlie.”  something like concern crosses over their features, legs tucked underneath their body in their chair.  it wouldn’t look like a comfortable position, but tegan’s been in more uncomfortable ones.  “i know i’m not the best person to ask for help—.”  past track records speak for themselves.  “but if you need someone, i’ll see what i could do.”  a pause.  “i’m sorry.  i seem to be making this about myself, huh.”  well, at least they’re self aware.
