Here in Scotland music tuition used to be seen as part of the curriculum and came free as part of your education, this meant that no matter your background you could learn to play an instrument, which is an amazing opportunity to have.

However in recent years local councils have decided to take away or start making people pay for music tuition in schools. This is possibly illegal and means that many people do not get to learn an instrument just because of their income bracket! If you have a couple of quid, or dollars or whatever to spare, just enough to buy yourself a coffee, please donate so that everyone gets the chance to learn an instrument!
