Similar question to the Day's Undoing x Psychosis Crawler question. How does Nekusar and Day's Undoing interact? I had it explained to me that his ability triggers on each individual card drawn and that when the turn ends it immediately goes the to the clean-up step and that's when the Nekusar triggers will resolve and deal their damage.
No.
When Day’s Undoing ends the turn, it exiles all objects on the stack as well as all objects waiting to go on the stack, such as the Nekusar triggers. They never happen.
Does using Sundial of the Infinite's ability in response to the trigger from the new Nahiri's [-8] to return the card to your hand stop the trigger, therefore keeping the card on the field permanently?
Yes, as long as you do it with the trigger on the stack otherwise it’ll just wait for the next end step.
I had someone tell me something recently and I wanted a judge call on it. I was told that intentionally running an infinite combo that effectively did nothing would cause a DQ for the user as it causes an intentional delay in play for no reason. (the example they gave was 3 oblivion rings targetting each other in a cycle of exiling and returning to the field).
You wouldn’t be disqualified for doing this, but like any other loop that can be shortcut, you’ll receive a slow play warning for not shortcutting it and eventually making a different decision.
3 player commander game. P1 owns a Wild Evocation. P2 owns a Braids. P3 owns a Gate to the Aether. Each player would prefer that on their turn their own ability resolves first. How do all of these triggered abilities function in order on each player's turn?
When multiple players have triggers waiting to go on the stack, the triggers are put on the stack in APNAP order. The active player will put all of their triggers on the stack first, followed by the next player in turn order and so on.
I control a howling mine, Nekusar, and teferi's puzzle box. For the sake of increasing my total damage dealt I want my opponents to Mine and Nekusar draw before they do the puzzle trigger. Do I tell them in what order they have to do the triggers or do they get to choose because it's their turn?
You control the sources of all the triggers, so you choose their relative order.
My opponent casts Mycosynth Latice. Next turn I cast Painter's Servant, declaring Blue. Are all permanents now artifacts and blue, disregarding Latice's colorless text? What happens when Painter's Servant is cast first and then Latice is cast?
Painter’s Servant and Mycosynth Lattice play nicely with each other. Whichever effect is newer wins. (If Painter’s Servant is newer, Lattice will take away the original color of everything and it will just be the color chosen for Painter’s Servant.)
Approximately how long will you be getting questions about colorless mana with the new changes?
My guess is approximately forever.
