Celebration

Today it's a year since I posted my first SW fic on Ao3.

I know it's not nice to brag, but I'll do it anyway. In one year I have posted 16 SW fics. Some complete others still in progress, more than 140000 words! I am so proud of myself, especially because English is not my first language. It has been a wonderful experience to see others reading my stories and sometimes leaving kundos and comments. Thank you to all of you, you have made my life so much better. I have also met a few special others and for the first time I have someone to talk fic and plots with. I love you all.

So I got an A on my poetry comparative analysis essay I wrote the majority of it while fully medicated and did not look over it again when I was awake and sober. Maybe I shouldn't be on Facebook and Tumblr during Physical Chemistry but I still get amazing grades in the class even though I don't pay attention.

But why try when I can just cram and not try and still get A's

Competition!!!

So during the 4 first months of my babies life I have heard more mothers compare him to their children than I have ever heard teenage girls compare breasts. 

That is a lot of comparison by the way. 

It is not a competition. My baby boy if looking around, trying to crawl, sitting up and is going to develop at his own pace. If a mother comes up to you (who you probably have never met) and starts to brag about how their child started walking at 2 months. You should remember that your baby is perfect just the way he or she is. 

And for all new mothers out there, don't question your parenting just because another child is developing faster than another. Obviously you will brag to your mom and of course be proud of your child's accomplishments.
