Beautiful, cable-like lace descends in vertical bands from hip to toe, offering a rich density of pattern in a delightfully unique twist (or braid?) on openwork tights.

The label says "one size 90-160 lbs.", but we found the waistband stretches to about 47 inches, with about 45 inches of stretch in the hip and about 25 inches of stretch in the thigh.

Braid-Work and Embroidery Patterns.

The lovers of fancy work will appreciate the new feature which we introduce, of late and elegant designs in braiding and needle-work. No. 1, is a pretty form of letters for the corner of a handkerchief. No. 2, a braiding pattern for a child's skirt. No. 3, for the cuff of a jacket, the lower half forming a beautiful border for the pocket. No. 4, is suitable for skirt or jacket. No. 5 and No. 6, are among the most effective of embroidery patterns. No. 7 is very simple, yet very showy pattern, for braiding. No. 8. a very novel and striking one for a skirt. No. 9, a simple one for children's clothing. Nos. 10 and 11, capable of being used for a slipper, or for the corners and border of a jacket. No. 12 is handsome for a morning dress, and No. 13 the fashionable "Greek" pattern, and No. 14 is a corner for a pocket handkerchief.
