cut to like a reincarnated!arthur visiting a museum with a new camelot/king arthur exhibit

- arthur finds sketches and a massive portrait of his own face (like 100% accurate)(cause merlin painted it)

- someone in the museum takes a picture of arthur staring at the portrait in awe

- it also trends on twitter/social media

merlin being the recluse that he his doesn’t know that all of that ^ is happening and continue to sit near the lake and be sad

leon (he’s also immortal in this au) has to message merlin and be like “mate, i think arthur’s back”

- and blah blah blah they reunited and they live happily ever
