So AU idea what if Valka took Hiccup with her when cloudjumper took her. She would have raised him with the dragons and he would have never grown to try and fight them. She wouldn’t want him to purely grow up with dragons and I assume she would have done this if she was alone anyways so I think she would go into villages in the area disguised as a merchant or a fisher. This way hiccup would interact with other humans and maybe learned smithing from someone in a village. Maybe toothless had been injured by dragon hunters and hiccup helped him. Anyways Hiccup and Valka would have worked together to free dragons and explore the area. Then the people of Berk would have never stopped hunting dragons and in one expedition they head towards where the bewilderbeast lives. There stoick would have met hiccup and Valka and drama ensues. Maybe to make the drama even bigger he finds out who they are because while exploring he ended up sneaking up to hiccup who was humming the song that Valka and stoick sing in the movie because Valka still remembers the days in berk with some fondness.
This just happened because I love the hiccup and Valka doing dragon shenanigans scenes in HTTYD 2 and want to see more. Also when hiccup is showing Valka his map and she draws the rest of what she has explored I had to imagine him having explored it himself and not having any violence or drama like in rtte. I still love rtte but my favorite scenes in movies and series are fun exploration scenes. I hope I succeeded at putting my brain farts into words.
