Sunny’s List of Nice Things:

I am stealing this from @forlornmelody cause I need some brain hygiene right now and to focus on the good. My head is in a bit of a negative space at the mo.

1) We made a grocery run to get more cream cheese so I was able to make a double batch of cheese cake. The fat is really helping with my mental fog but I’ve still got a long way to go.

2) My new shoes came in early!!! The sneakers fit like a dream but the slides were a bit too big. BUT they will work great in a smaller size and that is what counts! My feet will be much happier with these!

3) Got to Zoom with mom today! She got her shot yesterday which means everyone in the fam has at least gotten their first vaccine! By June we will all be completely vaccinated!!! Woohoo!!

Okay, now I'm on the mend. Finally. I've been alternating between hours of feeling great and feeling like garbage. Instead of feeling like garbage most of the day. Progress!

I still had enough sick time to take today off. Figured it was that or missing the Good Friday service (masked!!) so I chose missing work. Shocking. I know.

Got my new pants in the mail. Just in time, cause I'm totally cosplaying Jason for Resurrection Sunday. :P

The romantic whiplash of negotiating my near-polecule with Thane and Kaidan. I honestly think Thane would be down, with his "generous" stage in life. Kaidan might need some time, but if Krios had lived long enough?

My supervisor was very understanding about me suddenly calling out tomorrow morning

No cavities! Apparently I brush too hard though, and that is apparently bad for your gums.

Hunting Wives continues to be very very juicy.

Putting in notice felt really good. My work took the news pretty well. My supervisor will find out Monday when he comes back and checks his email. Whoops. Payback.

Got a LOT done despite a killer migraine that I STILL have.

Kraken and You Can Have It All are still my fave tracks from the new album.

Today's and yesterday's List of Nice Things:

Honestly, having extremely limited cell service and very little time to spend on my phone the past two days was AMAZING. Can we just like...do away with social media apps altogether? Pretty please?

Spent one of the longest days of the year on the beach and it was the best thing ever.

Decided it was time to finally watch Heated Rivalry. Doing lots of Brainy things lately and this seems like a good way to give my brain a break.

Thankful for my friends who generously offer up their couches/futons/spare beds when I am poor at planning and need a free place to stay at the last minute.

I did SO much driving in the past 36 hours but more than half was in lovely mountainous/country roads. Completely different experience to city/freeway driving. Highly recommend.

Ran my presentation a second time, and not only was it smoother, but was 10 min shorter and within my goal time. Now to get that timing perfect tomorrow so the jokes land. Wish me luck.

I generally prefer Moffat's writing, but there are times when Davies just writes one that WRECKS you. 73 Yards will scar me for a while. Jeebus.

I survived a baller of a migraine today, and almost got everything done that I wanted to. Almost.

Oops. Apparently I had to update my profile AND my preferences on Hinge. I am sad for the confused conservative dudes, though, who will take longer to have queer awakenings. Maybe whenever their next convention is. Which I will NEVER attend.

Today's List of Nice Things:

Well. I opened my Inqy fic to write something for problematic ships week and um...I wrote over 500 words of surreal tension between Solas and Anathea? (I must stress this is not Solvellan endgame. Ana flirts thirsts for and flirts with everyone.) Been a minute since writing felt that fun, and not like pulling teeth.

Again, impeccable weather.

Everyone applaud my kitty. He caught another mouse. And don't worry, I made gave said mouse a stern talking to when I dropped it off at the nearby golf course. Nature is healing.

Been a minute since a Doctor Who episode made me cry. Steven Moffatt, how I have missed your writing.
