Thank you for sending that email. It really made my day so much...
I spent so much time on the video that I even wondered if it was worth all that effort. I had such a hate and love relationship with the video. But receiving such an email from you made me feel like it was worth all the effort. Even though my marks weren't the highest in the class, I had fun making the video despite the late night frustrations.
You were my favourite professor even before you send me this email (you are still my favourite professor with your cute german accent) because I could see that you truly cared about your students. Although your class is so big, you took the effort to really make your module interesting and enlightening. The effort can be seen. Maybe that is why you send emails to students whom you could see the effort placed in their work. I know this because I have heard of how you send emails to such students in the past.
Thank you for teaching cell biology and I really hope to be able to have the privilege and opportunity to be taught by you again! Maybe you could take me on for your current research program? hehe
