My anxiety is pretty bad. I have a hard time going places by myself, especially people-y spaces... It makes grocery shopping and countless other things really difficult because I get overwhelmed and panicky so easy.

I also love to read. I've got almost six or seven hundred books on my Goodreads right now and a TBR list that's at least one hundred books long. My library's Libby app has been awesome, and I've put a little dent in it that way, but it just doesn't have everything I want to read, and it's a little limited sometimes.

Well, it struck me the other day in a way that feels way-too-obvious that you can look stuff up at home in the online library database and then put holds on stuff from there. When you put stuff on hold, they collect the books for you and all you have to do is go inside and pick them up! Which is a lot less scary then wandering around trying to find them while panicking about people and making noise... It's been an absolute game-changer. I've started to put a major dent in stuff that'd been on my list for YEARS because the library had physical copies but not online ones or the online ones had insane hold times and I couldn't be bothered...

I feel so grateful (and maybe a little silly) for finally having the thought and wanted to share :) now I get to read books I never thought I'd be able to, and it's awesome <3
