Summary: After a battle with Cadmus, Kara is deathly injured. D.E.O manages to save her, but have to change her memories and give her new life until her powers return. Knowing it won't return anytime soon they give her false memories to protect her even from herself. She has a loner life. No sister, no family. She's living in NY, working in library and cafe, having peaceful life. Until she meets Lena Luthor and falls for her.
She lives like that, while few agents (Including Winn, who was sent undercover to watch Kara) are around her, supervising.
