I have a very brief knowledge of metamorphopsia, but that might be his problem. It’s where straight lines or images appear distorted or wavy. So shapes are a no go for him, he just doesn’t know it yet lol

He tilts his head at your question. Isn’t that a human restaurant? It doesn’t matter, he’s happy to go anywhere with you anyway. As long as he gets head pats and you keep calling him a good boy :)

You give him a taco and he makes a mess. Despite his embarrassed blush, he’s bouncy, happy, and smiling. It’s adorable so we can all forgive him (plus he’s still getting used to the whole ‘acting like a human’ thing)

Please let me save Bramble I just want him to be happy and loved. The poor bb. Can I please adopt him and give him a warm bath and some hot cocoa and a fluffy blanket? Ooh, and cozy pajamas, too. And his own toys, not old ones with other Pets’ saliva on them.

How old is he? How many previous owners has he had? Or was the pet shop his first stop after training?

Will he sit on furniture and eat with utensils? Or has he been abused to the point where he thinks he doesn’t deserve those things? Because I would make him some nice pasta. Or tacos. Whatever he wanted. And Bramble would have a nice bed of his own, of course. 🥺🥺🥺

Bramble would adore you if you adopted him. After all, it’s what he’s wanted ever since being sent to the shop.

A warm bath? So much better than the lukewarm showers he’s used to. He would love some hot cocoa and would be extra good for you to deserve some again in the future. And a blanket! A fuzzy blanket! Poor bb would finally have the comfort he craves.

And the toys. With your permission, he’d run through the pet store he’s been living in, dragging you along and showing you exactly where all the fun looking toys are stocked. He sees them from the display pen and all he’s ever wanted to do it try them.

The general idea for this world is that pets stay with their training company for a few weeks once market-ready since direct sales are preferred, but are often sent to pet stores to increase sales and to normalize seeing pets in society. Bramble went straight to the pet shop after training, making him a pretty young pet, but still an adult.

He will sit on furniture if you want him to, but he’ll be so nervous about it. He won’t move a muscle, fearing that he’d ruin such pretty human furniture.

You: *gives Bramble a plate of food and a fork*

Bramble: *bites the fork like a chew toy*

Me: nO

I’m laughing so hard at the idea of him trying to twirl pasta on a fork, it would just fall off and he’d be sad.

Trust me, I’m getting attached to Bramble too. I think this was the convincing I needed to keep writing him lol

sooo, why does Bramble dislike bird people?

Ar’Vacians specifically, my dear, but I don’t enjoy birds either way....~ Bluejays in particular draw my ire.....

As for the reason, I imagine anyone would be rather upset is they were a bargaining chip in a war they had no hand in starting or negotiating. I simply refused to marry a man, and he threw a fit. I could have stayed home, but I was young and thought running away would be best for me.....

I was wrong, but it may have been worse had I stayed.

That jay seemed rather set on having me for his bride, and I don’t doubt my brothers and sisters may have been caught in crossfire had I not abandoned my home.
