I like the detail that the cats in warriors only have words for direct family relationships and only refer to any relative more removed by a chain of those direct relationships. It can suggest how the cats' society views family relationships and how important (or not) they are in the clans. Direct relationships are special, or at least noteworthy enough to have their own words. Beyond that you're just vaguely family. It's maybe a fun detail to share the chain of how you connect, if you know it, but it isn't anything more than that. Ultimately you're all clanmates, which matters more to them (or is supposed to), so tracking families beyond one relationship away isn't useful to them at all. The way the cats act in canon sure seem to fit this sort of interpretation, anyway, I think.

I am not... scaled, as they are. I am not furred. It's feathers, that coat my body. That cover my four wings and my four legs and my snout. There is a beak at the end of my face, and there are sharp, sharp teeth behind the opening. The opening itself, though, that's all smooth - I could grab you, hold you, carry you safely.

I align with "Dragon" in the "Overwhelming concepts and power given form" sense. I don't know if that's enough.

Hey everyone.

I wrote this up a few days ago, but didn't post it here immediately because I have already more or less been operating this way on tumblr for a few months. At any rate, it's definitely more universal and official. I've been testing this out and walking the walk the past couple weeks.

I won't be around except to post art, fanfics (rarely), and ocasionally to go through my ask box. I still want to express my appreciation for my interests, but I do not wish to be deeply involved in any fandom anymore. Not for a long time and possibly ever again.

The post explains my feelings and future plans with the greatest clarity I can manage right now, so I'd appreciate a quick read if you ever cared about my creations or presence here.

It was fun until it wasn't, for me. Thanks for a good 2023 and have a good 2024.
