13: What’s your current hair style? Any hair plans/goals?

it’s been the same for a long time, just like a mostly shaved head with one chunk of hair as bangs on one side. i’ve been thinking about whether i want to grow it out again into a mullet and then eventually cut it into a pixie or something like this again

and it’d be cool to dye it green again. i’m sorry that pic’s so fucking huge lmfao i’m too lazy to manually shrink it. anyway i freaked out the last time my hair was short but it was kind of an ugly cut from chopping off all of my hair in like one slice so i’m still a little too anxious to try again and i’m attached to the shaggy look still.

16: What is your favourite piece of butch media/media with a butch in it?

my own media this one’s hard genuinely because the butches that do exist in media tend to not really represent any butches besides bulldykes and i don’t really relate to them, and media that has them tends to be like extremely... questionable in many other regards so i wouldn’t really call anything a favorite by any means. like the most recent thing i can remember consuming with a butch lesbian in it was OITNB (ik i mentioned watching she-ra but anybody who considers catra a butch because her hair was forcibly cut off by the villain is a fucking joke lmfao) in less mainstream media, maybe brainchild. legit cannot think of a single piece of butch-oriented media personally besides like, stone butch blues. it’s a tough world out there

25: What do you love about being butch?

to be honest, i love that it gives me a script to navigate myself and my relationships where there would otherwise be none if that makes sense. it’s a relief to not have to explain myself sometimes. the tongue-in-cheek gaze of the masculinity and its performance is something i appreciate too.
