As a Branch kinnie- I have a Poppy and I couldn't be happier (surprising I know) But I still miss Hickory so much, I miss our cowboy bf troll :0(

man. it's funny as shit that this time around I made a friend entirely outside of kin stuff, someone who wedged her way into my heart and makes damn sure to tell me frequently that she'll never leave me alone (even before I told her about my continued abandonment issues), and I fell in love in a stupid way. and we're dating now. and when I revealed my kin stuff to her it turned out she also kins Poppy. time really is a flat circle, huh?

I miss Poppy. she always felt so safe. she was my home, more than grandma's pod, more than my bunker, more than anything. I'm very lucky in that I can get posters of her to decorate my space now, and that I can get little toy versions of her to carry with me, but I also know that it'll never be quite the same as when she was with me.
