Stretching out my new piece 'Good Luck Chuck' I really love this painting. It depicts the hard work and dedication with the end goal in mind. I was inspired by my bad ass students. Every week I teach a different group of teenagers at Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center. It breaks my heart talking to kids locked up for adult crimes. We have to be responsible for our actions but no one considers the circumstances that caused these decisions. Most of the kids come from broken homes..Pops in jail, dead, or absent. Moms a drugs addict. No one around to tell these young men that they have the potential to be great in every way. All it takes is vision and a plan. This ain't just another pretty picture. I created this for the Charlie Brown in all of us. For those with goals and endeavors, you CAN do it. There will be obstacles. You WILL persevere. Manifest your destiny. Stay positive Charlie Brown +>- #madebyjones #brandmade
