I really miss seeing him on my screen regularly.

I don’t understand how Chris was not tapped for any of the pilots this season if he is still looking for work on TV. He may be somewhat typecast as a CW heartthrob after starring on four CW series since 2013, but that is not really a bad thing... That just means he has a dedicated fanbase as the win in the TV Guide Chris-mas poll showed.

It is not like he has played the same teenage role for 6 years. Chris has shown his ability to play any role with a special charm that makes you care about the character whether you love or hate it - from psychotic serial killer, emotionally vulnerable literary wunderkind, psychopathic supernatural being (twice), heroic cop falling in love while stuck in hell on earth, civil war officer and fratboy-of-the-universe turned lover turned superhero.
