They cuddling partner with cold ❄️
Notes: I don't take requests, also it's cold here. Then, this preference is about some Aubrey Plaza's characters cuddling with their partner at a cold season, like winter.
Characters: April Ludgate (Parks And Recreation), Lenny Busker (Legion), Brandy Clark (The To Do List), Rio Vidal (Agatha All Along), Emily Benetto (Emily The Criminal).

⟾ April Ludgate (Parks And Recreation)
April’s sprawled on the couch, probably watching some creepy horror movie, her face barely lit by the glow of the screen. When her partner scoots closer, shivering and trying to snuggle up for warmth, she side-eyes them with her signature deadpan stare. “Ugh, are you seriously being this needy right now?” she groans, rolling her eyes. But she doesn’t pull away. Instead, she slings an arm around them, muttering, “Fine, but don’t expect me to like it.” Secretly, she’s kinda into it, but she’d rather die than admit it. She tugs the blanket over both of them, still grumbling about how she’s “not a human heater.”
⟾ Lenny Busker (Legion)
Lenny’s vibe is chaotic, sprawled across a ratty couch in some psychedelic dreamscape or grungy apartment, probably sipping something questionable. When her partner inches closer, clutching onto her for warmth, she cackles, her grin wild and unhinged. “Oh, you want this furnace, huh?” she teases, wrapping her arms around them like a human straitjacket. She’s unpredictable and might start tickling them or whispering weird, half-serious nonsense about “merging souls to stay warm.” But she holds them tight, her energy buzzing, making the cold feel irrelevant with her manic warmth.
⟾ Emily Benetto (Emily the Criminal)
Emily’s tense, probably lying in bed overthinking her next move or the latest debt hanging over her. When her partner slides closer, clutching her to fend off the winter chill, she stiffens at first, her guarded nature kicking in. “What’re we doing here?” she asks, voice low and skeptical, like it’s a scam. But as their shivering body presses against hers, she softens, letting out a small sigh. “Alright, c’mere,” she murmurs, pulling them close, her arm a quiet anchor. She’s not a big on PDA, but in the dark, she’s got their back, her warmth a rare comfort.
⟾ Brandy Klark (The To Do List)
Brandy’s probably overanalyzing something, maybe mentally checking off a “winter survival list” in her head. When her partner cuddles up, clutching her for warmth, she freezes, wide-eyed, like she’s been caught off guard. “Oh! Okay, uh, this is… happening,” she says, her voice a mix of awkward and curious. She adjusts, trying to find the “right” cuddling position like it’s a science experiment. “Is this good? Am I doing it right?” she asks, half-laughing. She ends up giggling, wrapping them in a clumsy but earnest hug, her overthinking melting into genuine coziness.
⟾ Rio Vidal (Agatha All Along)
Rio’s lounging like a predator at rest, her dark, enigmatic aura filling the room. When her partner sidles up, clutching her for warmth, a slow, mischievous smile spreads across her face. “Oh, darling, clinging to me like I’m your salvation?” she purrs, her voice dripping with playful menace. She pulls them in close, her touch both comforting and slightly dangerous, like she could devour them if she wanted. “I’ll keep you warm,” she whispers, her fingers tracing their spine, “but you owe me something for this.” Her laugh is low, and the night feels electric with her.

ROM #51 “Total War”
Written by Bill Mantlo, Illustrated by Sal Buscema ans Sal Candido
It's 1981. Drunk on power, the executives at Marvel Productions greenlight a ROM: Spaceknight TV series made possible with a new whiz-bang special effects by the best Tokusatsu FX team they can blackmail into doing it.
The series ran for three years, with a couple of follow up direct-to-TV movies, keeping on budget with frequent flashbacks to Galador that let ROM be out of costume.
Of course, all of this is 100% unreality in this ramshackle universe.
The usual tutorials and breakdowns are to come. For now, enjoy some Spaceknights in Love.
Once again SCREAMING about the insanity that is this album, and this song in particular
Brandy Clark concert random bulleted yapping!
She has the four person (including her) band she made the new album with and they are so so tight. Totally seamless. And the guitarist and bassist are technically great and also such engaging performers even when not singing
Speaking of the guitarist, props to him for doing a great job of Brandi's harmony on Dear Insecurity
Speaking of Dear Insecurity, they played Dear Insecurity and I promptly had a flashback to a very important moment and started tearing up
Speaking of tearing up, during Buried (which the band left the stage for) every time there was a break in the guitar she would covertly wipe her eyes and she was visibly teary when it was done. I love her.
She ended the show with a super fun rendition of Broke which featured everybody on their feet and dancing around and also every member of the band had a really great solo at the very end of the song
Brandy, the OG reason I'm gay, and I'm still gay. I'll spare you the rest of my thoughts on this matter.
She says American Roots, the lead single of the new album, will be out in September of this year and the album itself in very early 2027
Speaking of!! New album!!! She played so many songs from it!!!! They are all so good!!!! It's going to be so good!!!!! I'm going to be so insufferable! Prepare yourself!
She played If I Get To Be An Old Woman, which is the one I already knew, which also made me tear up
Goodnight Los Angeles (from new album) contains Pronouns
American Roots has this part where she references the statue of liberty poem and then just goes "It's no more mine than it is yours" over and over and that was the 3rd thing that got me teary. You should go listen to it, there's a ton of live recordings
Highly recommend seeing Brandy Clark during pride month because the backdrop she has of her signature is rainbow instead of white and also the lights turn rainbow during almost every chorus
She did Follow Your Arrow which means I've now seen Brandy Clark deliver the line "Or kiss lots of girls if that's something you're into" in person which means my life is complete
The other time I saw her she was trading songs with Lori McKenna and she was great there too, but it means I didn't get to see her get into her full rhythm and flow as a live performer. She's genuinely incredible. She's known as a songwriter but she massively exceeded my expectations as a performer. She has so much stage presence and competency and confidence and expressiveness. Highly recommend seeing her if you can.
Wow, Rom and Brandy, there is a pair we haven't seen for a hot minute. We don't see them again till the 2000s, and we won't be calling him Rom then because Marvel will have lost the rights to do that... I believe they call him the "Prime Director."
