Branrow Fest officially starts on Monday. So exciting to finally see what everyone has come up with this past month !

Try and post your creations on the correct prompt day. But feel free to continue posting over the next few weeks as I know it's a busy time of year for everyone. Last day for submissions is the 1st of January.

WIP Wednesday

So excited for the start of Branrow Fest next week. Just a little story I'm working on for the event. It's a AU where Tom ended up being drafted for WWI.

"You all right, Tom?" A voice broke through his thoughts, drawing his gaze away from the grim scene around him. He knew he had been drifting lately—losing time, losing himself. He’d seen it before, men losing their minds until they put a bullet through their own skulls. But he was too exhausted to care if he was nearing that edge himself.

"I'm fine," he replied, his voice sounding foreign to his own ears—hoarse and hollow, swallowed up by the distant rattle of gunfire and the rumble of artillery.

"You look like hell."

"Fuck you." Tom turned his head for the first time, meeting the sunken eyes of the man beside him. His face was hollow, his cheekbones sharper than they should have been, with deep shadows beneath his eyes. His hair, usually neatly combed, was ragged, hanging awkwardly over his forehead.

"Thomas?"

"Branson."

Prompt Suggestions

Excited to announce that "Branrow Fest" will be taking place the week of the 16th-22nd of December!!

As part of "Branrow Fest" we will be looking for prompt suggestions over the next two weeks following this you will be asked vote on prompts to use for the event!!!

You can submit your prompt suggestions anonymously through the Google form here, or alternatively, you can drop your prompt suggestions into my ask box @branrow-events. The final date for the submission of prompts is the 27th of October.

A few points on prompt suggestions:

No explicit prompts. (Content created for the week can, of course, be explicit, but I want to keep the prompts clean to allow everyone the opportunity to participate.)

Prompts should be on theme for Christmas/ winter/ New Years.

All types of prompts are welcome: one word, dialogue, song lyrics, situations, tropes, images etc. Love to hear all your ideas!!

Forms can be submitted multiple times, so feel free to keep the suggestions coming over the next two weeks.

The forms are anonymous, I won't know who suggested what, so feel free to be creative !!

Prompts will be officially posted on the 16th of November to allow everyone time to get ready. Hope everyone is excited 😊

Prompt Vote!!

It's time to see what your fellow Branrow shippers have came up with the last two weeks!! It's going to be a struggle to pick just seven prompts from such an amazing list.

A few points:

I've reworded some of the more specific prompts to allow for more diversity in how they can be interpreted.

Every prompt suggestion has been included they just might not be worded the same as you sent them to me.

AU Freefrom: a really cool suggestion I got. Basically it's up to you to choose the AU eg Modern AU.

Free Choice: if this gets enough votes we'll do Free Choice Friday where you can chose your own prompt.
