I rewatched s2 and it reminded of how much I LOVE the potential dynamic between Tom and Thomas. They had some sexual tension going on in my book 🫶 I mean, Tom had to wait a long time for Sybil

When Tom finds Thomas and assists after his suicide attempt, a bond forms between the two men, one that is built upon a mutual need for one another. As their friendship grows, the bond develops into something deeper and much more abiding.
I posted about my fav poly relationship Mary/Matthew/Thomas but what do you think about Sybil/Tom/Thomas?
Thomas and Sybil starts a friendship as a nurse/medic during WWI. She wants to be more than the daughter of an Earl and he wants to be more than a servant. Both give each other what they want and need.
Then we have Tom and Sybil. We see how they felt in love. (And they deserve a happy end! Fuck you JF!)
But what about Tom and Thomas? Through Sybil Tom starts to see a different side of Thomas. He never hated him because he was gay. Yes, he is catholic but the British have a law against sodomy? Then he will support it. Love your neighbour as yourself and all that shit.
So these three start to talk. They all want a something different after the war. Why shouldn't they start a new life together in Ireland?
The Crawleys are shocked that Sybil runs away with two (!) servants even through one of them is, you know, bent. They are sure there must be more behind the story.
But then she writes that she is married and they all share an apartment. Now the complete Crawley family plus the servants (the gossip circle works) are all super confused. The next time they visit all three wear rings, she is pregnant and everybody is really happy that the Dowager is shameless enough to ask who is the father.
It's calling back to me...... It haunts me every day... I want to read a different fic... BUT NO!!! the urge to reread for the 50th fucking time is far too strong....
Hey everyone 😊
Thanks so much for your interest in a Branrow event! It looks like we’ve got a good number of “yes” votes and some “maybes,” so I'm excited to announce that we'll be organizing a Christmas-themed Branrow Week!
I’ll be posting another poll soon with some suggested dates, so stay tuned! Here’s the plan: I’ll ask for prompt suggestions via the ask box or through a Google form, and then we’ll vote on our favourites. The final prompts will be posted a month before the event to give everyone plenty of time to prepare.
In the meantime, be sure to follow the page for updates, and feel free to drop any questions in my ask box. If anyone wants to help with organizing, I’d love to hear from you—just send me a message!
Can’t wait to get started and get to know everyone!
