Animalnomenon of the day: Jaguar!

Jaguars were once found in most of the american continent, from southeast USA to central Argentina, but due to loss of habitat and being hunted, they're found from Mexico to northern Argentina, with Brazil currently having the biggest jaguar population in the world (they're also in the 50 reais bill)!!!!

They have very strong bite force! It's actually stronger then a lion's or a tiger's bite force, a jaguar's bite force is strong enough to be able to break a turtle shell!

Black panthers aren't actually their own species, they're actually melanistic variations of leopards and jaguars! In fact, if you look closely, you can even see their rosettes!

Weighting up to 184kg, jaguars are the biggest feline in the americas, and the 3rd biggest felines in the world!

Each jaguar has their own, unique rosette pattern, just no human fingerprints are the same, no jaguars look the same!

They're highly adaptable animals and thrive in multiple ecosystems, from jungles to semi desertic regions (but prefer humid places of course). In fact, researchers have observed jaguars live in trees in the Amazon up to 4 months per year (when their habitats become flooded).

Eu trago essa imagem gostosa, que me despertou uma familiaridade com as cores, que cruzam com a ideia das campanhas de conscientização da saúde! -Azul( O Novembro Azul é uma campanha de conscientização realizada por diversas entidades no mês de novembro dirigida à sociedade e, em especial, aos homens, para conscientização a respeito de doenças masculinas, com ênfase na prevenção e no diagnóstico precoce do cancro de próstata) - Rosa ( Outubro Rosa é uma campanha de conscientização que tem como objetivo principal alertar as mulheres e a sociedade sobre a importância da prevenção e do diagnóstico precoce do câncer de mama e mais recentemente sobre o câncer de colo do útero). Essa imagem tive acesso ao ler a matéria em que @malumaofficial concedeu a  @gq, no mês de outubro.(BRAVO)
