This bathroom is very calm. In my opinion, the most interesting thing here are the handles. The design of them is very subtle, but the contrast to other materials is fascinating.

Brass Handle - Spira Brass
A few weeks ago I had an interesting conversation with one of my followers. We had been chatting about different knives and their historical significance. He asked if I knew what a Higonokami knife was, and I replied that I didn’t. After I learned a little bit about them, I realized what a unique and cool knife they really were. Yesterday, I picked up a package from the post office. In it was a brand new Higonokami knife from my follower. He felt I should expand my barbarian mind and own a classic knife. I touched up the blade on a fine diamond stone and then stropped it with diamond paste. The high carbon steel blade now cuts like a razor. Cutting paper, paracord, Technora line, meat for dinner, whittling wood- this blade is awesome. I’m a fan of flat grinds, which this knife has, and the flat grind makes it a much more efficient cutter and slicer, IMNSHO. This knife makes for a pretty classy pocket dump. It’s not a high tech tactical knife with super steel. It’s a low tech performer that will only draw attention because of how unique it is. I’m going to carry this in addition to my usual rotation of knives because I like it so much.
