Reading gachiakatu has reminded me I'm very objectum.

anyway here is this trumpet I've recently gotten my hands on its very sweet and kind and so easy to hold it makes me a little sick feeling.

Air doesn't flow easily though it just yet but with a little effort the sound still comes out and its still very stunning. Might get it repaired and play it for real.

being in band is so funny. i tell someone i play an instrument and they go “oh wow you must be such an intellectual! which instrument do you play?” and then i have to tell them i play the trombone. yeah it’s the wah wah wah instrument. the elongated trumpet without buttons. the one that’s got the slidey slide. absolutely hysterical to me

So back when I did band when I'd be away from my case I used to put valve oil in my pocket, and by the time I was like a month and a half into my freshman year I became The Keeper of Valve Oil for the entire brass section of the marching band. This reputation followed me for my entire high school band career for every group I did. Do you know how weird it is to be a tiny freshman that large teenage boys depend on?
