Anus Tart
This morning I'm beginning to really dig deep on a project that was previously worked on by another engineer/studio and the ship had sunk. I love helping musicians out but even more love it when they give me the permission to try new things, and break the mould a little. Through the next two weeks or so I'll be documenting my approach to this album, and how I modify what is known as Brauerizing; the use of multi-bus compression. Michael Brauer is one of the main reasons I do what I do. Parachutes is one of my desert island records and much of that sound is Brauers use of the MBC. I've been studying Michaels noted which he posts on his website, Q&A, and the theory behind the Brauerize technique. Time to take it one step further.
