The redhead huffs a tired sigh, thin fingers running themselves through disheveled hair.

“Sorry, Teef.”

He leans in, smiling faintly, and returns her greeting in kind with a gentle peck on the cheek.

Accidents Happen

Some days are more exhausting than others.  This was something Reno had learned a long, long time ago.  Some days can feel like they're literally sucking the life out of you.

This was one of those days.

The demon was completely drained.  He felt like his blood had frozen in his veins, and his sluggish, stiff movements showed it.  Thankfully he was just hungry, not starving, so his guise remained active just fine.  As a precaution, however, the redhead made sure to avoid eye contact with anyone on the street.  He found that his eyes were always the first to slip up.  It'd been a problem for him since childhood.

The Turk needed a good meal, and fast.  But he was just too languid to assault some random civilians.  He needed something simpler.

So he found himself in front of everyone's favorite local bar-- The Seventh Heaven.  One of the few bars he hadn't hit, Seventh Heaven was a generally peaceful place, with a heavy focus on a welcoming, warm atmosphere.

Seeing a bar fight explode in such an environment would make his day, and with that thought in mind, ShinRa's literal speed demon snaked his way inside.

Tonight was going to be good.
