where did tessa go? is she okay? i saw a super-vage hiatus thingie right after that trip and now her whole blog is gone. did something happen?

Some personal issues came up IRL and she felt it was best to focus on those without the distractions of Tumblr and the internet. I'm not in contact with her now, so I don't have any other information and can only hope she figures things out and comes back eventually.

As I'm sure many of you are aware, my very good friend and RP partner, Tess, aka bravejem, has decided to go on hiatus while she sorts through some things. As a result, all of our threads will be on indefinite hold. I've received one question about whether I would consider continuing a thread solo or with another partner, and frankly, I just would not feel right about that. Those are ideas and plots and characters I love, but as I created them with Tess, it simply wouldn't feel right to continue without her.

This means that The Holiday, Small Bump, Firenze, and Desperate are all on hiatus as well. Some of those threads, if and when she comes back, may change drastically, or disappear entirely. That'll be up to us to figure out, and I'd like to ask you guys to respect that while we figure it out.

As bravejem is sadly on possible indefinite-hiatus, is there any chance you might continue some threads yourself, or ask other people to take over? Specifically regarding Small Bump, which was my FAVE thread ever and I'm sad to know I might never know what was gonna happen after :(

First, let me say how pleased I am to hear how much you enjoy something as dear to me as Small Bump. It's a fantastic thread to write, and I've had a lot of fun working on it with Tess. I'm glad you like reading it as much as we like writing it.

However, the heart of that thread is entirely Tess' baby. You could say that it became mine, too, in a way, but Tess was the one who came to me with the idea. I frankly wouldn't feel right continuing it without her, be it solo or with another partner, even if she gave her blessing. That's our thread, period. No ifs, ands, or buts.

So, for the time being, Small Bump, The Holiday, Firenze, and Desperate are all on indefinite hiatus for the time being.
