The wind around her begins to pick up. She had warned the boy that any more stalling would anger her, and now it was beginning to show. She gives an annoyed look upon her face before she begins speaking, her voice lower but sharp.
“I don’t care if you feel convinced by what I have to say now or whatever ‘perks’ you feel the need to explain. If I want something, I will take it by whatever means I desire. So what if you turn out to be a mindless, throwable piece that I take in. You would be mine to use as I see fit and that is final. Everything in this world has a purpose whether it be thrust upon them or -”
In Dark’s hand appears to be a pendent of some kind, before she crushes it into pieces. The moment it breaks, a seal on Zion’s tail and back begins to glow. It takes the form of a rose and begins to cause the boy some serious pain suddenly.
“YOU WILL COME WITH ME NOW!”
Suddenly the area around Light, Zion, and Dark explodes with a powerful shock wave as nearby buildings collapse and fall apart.
The time Zion talked with Dark is enough for Light to appear in front of Zion as her wings appear on her back. She looks pretty beat up still however the spark of flame within her seems to have come back. A large magical circle appears under her as the snow begins to whip around the city now. It was as if Light was summoning a blizzard while a large transparent shield appears in front of her.
“….You are bleeding again Dark. You remember what happened last time that happened.” said Light, her staff pointed at Dark as the barrier remains in effect.
Dark touches her nose and sure enough, there is blood there. She wipes it away with her sleeve.
“Damn, of all the times for this to happen now.” mutters Dark.
He was well aware of all of this, but even by angering his enemy he had to buy his friend some time. Zi knew of the risks and he soon felt the punishment for it. Pain shot up and down his body as the other destroyed some pendant, he had no idea how this was happened but he didn’t care, the boy let out a near-crazed cry of anguish, tears streaming down his face. He didn’t fall unconscious or anything of the sort, but he did look debilitated enough that he could probably have been taken away right then and there. Then his friend came.
Zion falls to his knees, clutching at his own arms as if that would help with his internal pain. It didn’t. And his arms were covered in bloody scratches. He just stares at the ground between the other two widely, feeling like he’s floating out of his body. It was bizarre. Could he even listen now? Was he?
As he comes to, towards the end of their conversation, he feels slight relief noticing who’s in front of him. He gently grasps at her hips for a second just mumbling “Thank you..., thank you...”
If she moves away to attack Dark though, he wouldn’t be resisting that at all.
