Maddy yelped and she winced when her back hit the ground, Percy and her had been training for awhile now and neither of them really knew what the time was

"Ow" she whined and Percy laughed softly

"If you wanted someone who'd go easy on you would have picked someone else to train with" he reminded her and she groaned as he helped her up

Oh who was he kidding. Of course he did.  It wasn't so much that he didn't trust her, but more so of the fact that he    no. Fatherhood terrified him.

But it definitely came out a lot harsher than he wanted it to. He knew she would never cheat on him, yet that was the first thing that came out of his mouth when she told him.
