4. name three authors that were influential to your work and tell why

that’s a wonderful question. NK Jemisin, JRR Tolkien, and Gillian Flynn. Mostly because when I read their writing, my mind goes crazy with inspiration and I just really latch onto their writing styles. Also with Jemisin and Tolkien, their fantasy writing gives me a lot of inspiration since I’ve always really been into that genre even when I was little. Gillian Flynn isn’t a fantasy writer, but the way she writes these really gripping and dark tales is just... mind-blowing.

20. favorite character to write

In fanfic, definitely Cas. in my own writing, my character Sen (I made her up when I was 15. she’s still stuck in my brain)

25. favorite line you’ve ever written

from ‘the cost of a thing’: “Her smile seems to falter, as if someone bumped into a frame and knocked it crooked.” i really like the imagery and implications that presents.
