Hello! I am naturally an anxious person, and I’ve suffered from social anxiety so I decided to make a spell to give me a bit more self-confidence and courage when having to do something I find scary.
I based it on this quote from Macbeth because Lady Macbeth has always been one of my heroes, never shying away from what has to be done, not timid at all. This spell is designed to help you to screw your courage to the sticking place and overcome your fears.
Clove - adds power to a spell, a commanding ingredient
Dill - has a calming effect
Fenugreek - luck and success
Thyme - courage, protection
Note: make any changes or substitutions you like, I am a firm believer that all a witch needs to perform a spell is their wit and their will. These ingredients work for me, they might not for you, we are all different.
First - Place ingredients, just a pinch of each, on a square of cloth. You can use green for luck or orange for success but I used white because that was what I had to hand.
Second - Bring the corners of the cloth together to form a bundle, ensuring that none of the herbs can escape. As you do so, imagine that you are gathering your courage into a firm bundle.
Third - Bind the corners of the cloth together tightly, imagining that you are binding your courage tight and firm so it cannot escape you. This is you screwing your courage to the sticking place.
Fourth - You can carry this bundle around with you and give it a squeeze when you need a little extra bravery.
