Chao tried to have more children with his wife, but after Yin was born she started to become ill/have problems with bearing anymore so as a whole they both stopped and focused on their only son from now on. 

Chao married at 19 and his wife at 15. ;’ )

Usually braided hair like his were suppose be at the length of your lower back??? But due to his Assassin job he was allowed to keep it shorter than usual to prevent other assassins from latching on and beheading/capturing him more easily.
